Work more efficiently in the editor with keyboard shortcuts and smart commands.

Shortcuts in Stiimo are designed to make your work faster and more efficient. By using the keyboard, you can draw, edit, and navigate in drawings with fewer clicks and a smoother workflow. Use the list below as support in your daily work or as a quick reference when you want to become even faster in the editor.

Shortcuts
Tool selection
  • V Select (Select) – Choose and manipulate objects
  • B Draw symbol (Bounding Box) – Place new symbols/components
  • L Draw line (Line) – Draw regular lines/cables
  • T Draw trunk line (Trunk Line) – Draw trunk cables
  • K Draw conduit (Conduit) – Only for conduit drawings
  • H Height tool (Height) – Only for conduit drawings
  • M Multi-select (Multi-Select) – Select multiple objects at once
  • C Confirm components (Confirm) – Mark symbols as confirmed
  • F Show/hide labels – Toggle visibility of labels
Navigation & Zoom
  • / = Zoom in – Increase zoom level
  • Zoom out – Decrease zoom level
  • 0 Reset view – Default zoom and centering
  • Ctrl/Cmd + mouse wheel Zoom – Zoom using the mouse wheel
  • Space + drag Pan – Move the view
  • Ctrl + F Focus search field – Activate the search field in the toolbar
Editing
  • Alt + drag Copy symbols – Copy symbols
  • Ctrl + drag Move symbols – Move symbols
  • Ctrl + Z Undo – Undo the last action
  • Ctrl + Y Redo – Redo the last undone action
  • Ctrl + A Select all – Select all visible objects
  • Escape Cancel/Go back – Cancel drawing or switch to Select
  • Delete Remove – Delete selected objects
During line drawing
  • Shift (hold) 90° snapping – Locks to horizontal/vertical
  • Enter Finish line – Complete the line
  • Right-click Finish line – Same as Enter
  • Backspace Undo point – Removes the last point
  • Escape Cancel drawing – Cancels the entire session
During multi-select
  • Shift Add – Hold Shift and drag to add to the selection
  • Alt Deselect – Hold Alt and drag to remove from the selection
