Joel's idea was the beginning
Joel has for many years worked as an estimator in the electrical industry. He knew how time-consuming and monotonous it could be to count symbols and measure cables on drawings. He saw how much time was wasted on manual work – time that should instead go toward creating value in projects. The idea for Stiimo was born out of frustration with inefficiency. By combining his experience as an estimator with the new power of AI, Joel shaped the vision: to automate quantity takeoff and estimation work, and thereby transform the way an entire industry operates. Together with tech entrepreneurs from Enköping, Joel began developing Stiimo – a platform that makes it simple, fast, and accurate to interpret drawings.
